Please accept my warmest welcome to our South Mountain Community College website. For more than two decades, SMCC has been known as “the college with a heart.”  Our outstanding faculty and staff are committed to making sure that each and every student feels at home and gains the most from his or her education.

SMCC serves a broad and diverse student body – now composed of more than 8,000 students each year. And each year sees more choices, classes and programs.  I hope you will seek new challenges and opportunities available to you at our college.
 
In addition to a variety of interesting classes, opportunities await you in student government, honors, sports, journalism, theater, music, dance, storytelling, computers, technology – and many more.
