College Strategic Plan

Strategic planning is a vital, continuous commitment that contributes to the success of South Mountain Community College. Each year, employees examine the needs of the college, students, and community. They then develop a realistic and effective plan that becomes the frame of reference for the allocation of our resources and coordination of our activities.

Our Strategic Plan includes priorities, goals and objectives for the upcoming year, and also details recent accomplishments. These accomplishments form the cornerstone for our future plans and success.

Planning for the new year was linked to seven important priorities and related goals. Employees designed specific objectives to accomplish these goals.

It is impossible to select one priority as more important than another. Each works together for the betterment of the college and improved education for our students. Special thanks are due to all employees who have worked long and hard to determine these vital priorities -- and who have outlined ways to carry out the goals and objectives. They have worked hard in the past to carry out our strategic plans and, no doubt, they will remain dedicated to our plans for the future.
