- Carpool, walk, ride your bike or use mass transit systems.
- Avoid printing out emails.

- Swap your media files and computers out with others. Check out Gigoit, Craigslist, or Freecycle for free or inexpensive trades on everything from computers to dorm room essentials.

Choose
- Use cleaning products that are safe for the environment (see this list of all-natural cleaning products)
