South Mountain Community College will provide a free opportunity for individuals interested in healthcare careers to meet and talk to doctors, nurses and other professionals at the annual Health Careers Awareness Day on Saturday, April 21.
The conference will include information about healthcare careers and educational programs. Scholarships and door prizes will be awarded, and complimentary continental breakfast and lunch will be offered.
Keynote speaker will be novelist and screenwriter Victor Villaseñor, author of Rain of Gold.
The conference will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at South Mountain Community College, 7050 S. 24th St. in Phoenix, just north of Baseline Rd.
