Getting ready for college, but need a little help with your writing skills? 

South Mountain Community College has the answer: English Writing S.T.A.R. Camp.

English Writing S.T.A.R. Camp is a two-week series of afternoon classes designed to improve English language writing and composition skills.  Students who successfully complete the camp will gain skills that will assist them in their college studies, and may be able to test into higher-level English courses.

The eight-session camp runs Monday through Thursday, from July 27 to August 6, 2009.  Daily class sessions run from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m.  Class sessions take place at the SMCC Main Campus, 7050 S. 24th Street in Phoenix.  Instructor is Carlos Caire.
