Although the official start of the fall semester at South Mountain Community College comes in August, there’s still time for residents of Phoenix, Ahwatukee, Laveen and Guadalupe to enroll in a wide variety of classes this fall.
More than 200 classes in all academic subjects will begin throughout September, October and November. These classes range in duration from a single session to 14 weeks.
The complete fall schedule of classes may be viewed on the college website, at http://www.southmountaincc.edu . Students may also have a scheduled mailed to them by calling 602.243.8169.
Tuition is $65 per credit hour, plus a $15 registration fee. Financial aid is available.
Classes are offered at the SMCC Main Campus, SMCC Ahwatukee Foothills Center, SMCC Guadalupe Center, and several locations in Laveen.
To enroll at any site, students may register online or visit the SMCC Student Enrollment Services Center at the main college, 7050 S. 24th Street. Academic advisors are available.
In addition, students may enroll onsite at the SMCC Ahwatukee Foothills Center at Horizon Community Learning Center, 16233 S. 48th St., or by phoning the center at 480.659.3070. An academic advisor is available.
Student may enroll onsite at the SMCC Guadalupe Center, 9233 S. Avenida del Yaqui (Priest Road) in Guadalupe, or call 602.243.8217 to enroll by phone or speak with an academic advisor.
