Learn how to turn your inspiration, imagination, and writing ability into articles at South Mountain Community College.  Enroll now for the  class, Magazine Writing, starting Feb. 5

Linda Sweet, magazine writer, will teach the class (English  235, Section 7717) on Tuesdays from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.   The class will run from Feb. 5 to May 9 at SMCC, 7050 S. 24th St., just north of Baseline Rd.

Sweet will teach about manuscript preparation, article and story ideas, submission guidelines, writing query letters, and learning how to conduct interviews.  Writing and selling personal essays, memoirs, and short fiction will also be covered.  There are no pre-requisites.

The three-credit class is $195 for in-county students, plus a one-time-per-semester registration fee if $15.
