March 10, 2008 - South Mountain Community College Summer 2008 Course Schedule Now Available

More than 200 credit courses available

Registration is now underway for Summer 2008 classes at South Mountain Community College. 
 
Classes begin June 9.  They have been scheduled to begin one week later than in previous years -- in two four-week sessions and one eight-week session, for student convenience.  
 
The summer schedule of classes may be viewed on the college website, at http://enroll.southmountaincc.edu/NR/rdonlyres/FA941845-6C26-4A8E-8390-E9145F2D8302/2413/summer09.pdf, and printed schedules are available at all campus locations.

Classes will be held at:

SMCC Main Campus, 7050 S. 24th St.

SMCC Ahwatukee Foothills Center, 16233 S. 48th St.

SMCC Guadalupe Center, 9233 S. Avenida del Yaqui
(Priest Drive south of Guadalupe Rd., Guadalupe)

Various locations throughout Laveen

Classes will run:

  • June 9 to July 31: eight-week full summer session
  • June 9 to July 2:  four-week short session (first session)
  • July 7 to July 31: four-week short session (second session)


A wide variety of summer courses are available in both four and eight-week sessions, including computer studies, English, mathematics, behavioral health, chemistry, early childhood education, foreign languages, and biology. 
 
To enroll at any site, students may register online or visit the SMCC Student Enrollment Services Center at the Main Campus, 7050 S. 24th Street (602.243.8123).  Academic advisors are available.
 
Students may enroll onsite or by phone at the Main Campus (602.243.8123), Ahwatukee Foothills Center (480.659.3070) or the Guadalupe Center (602.243.8217).
