Students can now use their holiday break for more than rest and relaxation--they can complete more classes at South Mountain Community College.
Registration is now underway for SMCC’s “Holiday Express,” a selection of ten course offerings that students may complete within a four-week period between the fall and spring semesters.
Courses in critical reading, counseling, English and computers (Excel and PowerPoint) are among the classes offered, with most earning three credit hours. (A complete list is attached.) Classes run from December 17 through January 11, and most are hybrid in nature, requiring a combination of classroom time and online participation.
SMCC’s “Holiday Express” schedule was created to address the learning needs of busy students seeking creative classes through alternative and innovative scheduling.
To enroll, students may register online at www.southmountaincc.edu or visit the SMCC Student Enrollment Services Center at the main college, 7050 S. 24th Street. Academic advisors are available.
