If you’d like to own and operate your own business but aren’t sure how to get started, you’re invited to attend a free 90-minute seminar at the South Mountain Community College Guadalupe Center on November 6, beginning at 5:30 p.m.

“Should I Start A Business?” is a friendly and interactive session presented by Lisha Garcia of the Maricopa Community Colleges Small Business Development Center. The session will be presented in English with additional information in Spanish.

The program presents a step-by-step method to preparing for small business ownership, including:

  • Basic steps to start
  • How to develop a business plan
  • Financial and loan information
  • Marketing tips

In addition, SMCC Guadalupe Center will be offering an 18-week Entrepreneurship Certificate program next spring, including seven classes, beginning January 16. For more information about this program, visit http://guadalupe.southmountaincc.edu.
